Ashforth
Adds a Sparkle to Portland's Skyline
Window
Restoration Project Completed and Decades-Long
Window Grime Problem Solved
Ashforth
Pacific, Inc., has changed the look of Portland’s
skyline. After completing a challenging, time-consuming
window restoration project, Ashforth’s 14-story
office tower, One Pacific Square, located in downtown
Portland, now shines as a prominent member of the
Portland skyline.
After
more than three months – a consuming six weeks
of trial and error to produce the right cleaning
mixture and removal process added to eight weeks
of physically cleaning the windows –
One Pacific Square looked like a completely new building.
“This is an extraordinary accomplishment and a tremendous
amount of credit is due to our entire management team for their
determination and persistence, particularly Scott Lunski, who
spent countless hours formulating a sustainable cleaning solution
and the proper method to clean the grime without damaging the
windows,” said Langley.

For
the Earth
Ashforth
Pacific, Inc. wants to remind everyone of our strong
commitment to recycling. Within our portfolio Ashforth
tenants are given the opportunity (and are encouraged)
to recycle the following items: paper, cardboard,
batteries, cans, plastic bottles, glass, metal
and packaging “peanuts”. Additionally
within our properties, we are recycling building
materials such as fluorescent lights and wood pallets.
Computer
equipment (including monitors) is one item we are
not able to provide regular recycling of for our
tenants. However, we have found where you can go
to refurnish them locally. RE-PC offers computer
recycling by putting them back into the market, rather
than putting them into our landfills. Arrangements
can be made through 1565 Sixth Avenue South, Seattle,
WA 98134, or by calling (206) 623.9151. RE-PC may
charge a nominal fee, depending on the item or quantity
of items in question. Further information is available
by visiting their website at www.repc.com.
Thank
you for joining our continued efforts at recycling
as much as possible. If you have any questions regarding
whether an item is recyclable, please call Property
Management at (206) 223.9452. |
